Dinca 'Fala!


250g Self-Raising Flour
125g Butter
125g Demerara Sugar
400g Chopped Cooking Apples (Cubed)
200ml Milk

1. Mix the Flour and the sugar until it is all combined.
2. Add the butter and using rub it in with the butter with your fingertips and your thumb until the mixture resembles coarse bread crumbs.
3. Add the milk and mix until it forms a smooth batter.
4. Add in the Apples and stir gently to mix.
5. Flour your baking sheet, and drop the batter with two tablespoon and leave about an inch between each cake. There should be six on each baking sheet.
6. Bake at 200 degree Celsius for about 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Enjoy and serve these cakes warm!
